Alarming Israeli electoral interference around the World

Below we feature Double Down Newswatch’s recent video, featuring Anthony Loewenstein, an Australian/German investigative journalist, author and filmmaker. Loewenstein is particularly famous for his book The Palestine Laboratory, based on his investigations into Israel's export round the World of lethal technologies used in the occupation of Palestinian territories.
In the video Loewenstein and Richard Sanders discuss Israeli interference in elections around the globe, carried out with the apparent aim of installing pro-Israeli right-wing regimes.
The picture they paint is truly alarming. They mention various cases in Europe (France, Scotland and Slovenia), America (New York, Colombia and Honduras) and Africa (Angola, Kenya and Togo). This is not to say that these are the only countries where Israel has tried to intervene - for example Millei's Argentina is not mentioned - they are simply the examples cited in the video. Much of this information comes from Vignium, the French disinformation detection service.
Israeli operatives working for companies with names like Black Core, Black Cube and Team Jorge have been planting information, notably videos, designed to get voters to elect right-wing candidates. Lowenstein, himself Jewish, characterizes Israel’s support for far right parties as ridiculous short-term thinking. Such parties are after all traditionally antisemitic and racist, but this doesn’t matter to Israel. Its government knows it has been losing the battle for worldwide public opinion and is therefore desperate to garner support from regimes that are sympathetic in the here and now (with little regard to the day after!)
Loewenstein thinks it likely that Israel’s infiltration will prove more successful in the future, given technological advances in AI. These will enable Israeli operatives to plant videos attributing fake discourses to electoral candidates that are indistinguishable from the truth.
In a recent presentation the Israeli-born psychotherapist Avigail Abarbanel showed Israel to be a seriously disturbed and dangerous nation, whose population has been raised and indoctrinated with ideas of perpetual Jewish victimhood. While this idea draws on the well-attested Jewish suffering in the past, culminating in the Holocaust, it bears little relevance to the modern world where other racial groups (usually people with dark skins including Muslims) suffer far greater discrimination. However, with an electorate thus indoctrinated, and with Western support, Israel’s governments are free to engage in endless war crimes and aggression towards the Palestinians and surrounding countries, and to interfere in political processes around the World.
Loewenstein points out that while this is going on, Western mainstream media overwhelmingly focuses on electoral interference by countries like Russia and China, officially our enemies, while providing barely any coverage of what Israel is doing.
We need to bring this Israeli interference, both in elections and the export of lethal technology of occupation, to the attention of our national decision-makers such that combatting it is made a domestic and international priority.

I would imagine they are well aware of it, and have been for some time. I think our priority is to get this information out to as many people in the UK as we possibly can, along with numerous Israel-related lies and falsehoods and machinations, like the 40 beheaded babies atrocity propaganda, for example, and the fact that only one Israeli baby was killed on October 7th, albeit indirectly, and the massive gas-lighting of the Israeli population in relation to Shiri Bibas and her sons, 4-year-old Ariel and 9-month-old Kfir. The problem is that the vast majority of our national decision makers are firmly in the pockets of the Israel lobby & people who do try to speak up are being smeared and criminalised.
A majorproblem s that as soon as one says anything about the actions of the Israeli Government, or speaks in support of the Palestinians there are immediate accusations of anti-semitism. There is a real need to educate that there is a distinction between the ideas and actions of the Government in
Israel and the Jewish people.
